Arguments

srcfile – Specifies the input .aur file(s) name or pattern. You can use "###" as a frame number and the files will be treated as a sequence.

dstfile – Specifies the output .vdb file(s) name or pattern. You can use "###" as a frame number and the files will be treated as a sequence.

 

Options

-start – Specifies the starting frame of the sequence.

-end – Specifies the end frame of the sequence.

-verbose – Shows the conversion progress

-help – Shows the available commands

-credits– Shows the copyright notices for the cache converter and used libraries 

Example

  • Standalone Previewer previews AUR, VDB and Field3D cache files without loading them into a DCC application such as 3ds Max or Maya. Can be used to save a sequence of images for the preview of an entire cached simulation. 
  • Standalone Previewer CLI – command line interface for the Phoenix Standalone Previewer. Previews by saving images without a graphics window or graphical user interface. 
  • Standalone Simulator – command line tool for simulating Phoenix simscene files. 
  • Simscene Node Viewer allows you to preview and debug Phoenix simscene files.
