You can download the latest official version of V-Ray 3.0 from http://www.chaosgroup.com with the account supplied to you by Chaos Group or your reseller. System requirements
Please make sure that your system fulfills these requirements before installing V-Ray.
Processor
Intel Pentium IV or compatible processor with SSE2 support To use Embree you need CPU which supports SSE4.2 instruction set.
RAM
4 GB RAM and 4 GB swap minimum – recommended 8 GB or more RAM, 8 GB or more swap file
Operating system
Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, 64 bit versions only
Softimage
Softimage 2012 or later, 64 bit versions only
USB port
Required for hardware lock, preferably USB 2.0
TCP/IP
Only IPv4 is supported. IPv6 is currently not supported.

Installing the Dongle Drivers
The WIBU-KEY drivers are necessary for running the V-Ray License Server which is used to license V-Ray.
If you already have the WIBU-KEY drivers installed on the machine, you can skip this section. Otherwise follow these steps.
Note: Please make sure that you have the proper USB drivers installed on your machine.
Make sure that the dongle is NOT plugged-in.
Make sure your account has administrative privileges and run the installation file WkRuntime64.exe that came with the V-Ray 3.0 for Maya Softimage installation archive
Follow the instructions of the installer. You do not need to install the WIBU-KEY network server and monitor
