This page provides information on the Dimensions rollout under the Render tab in V-Ray's Render Settings.

Overview


The Dimensions rollout contains options related to the dimensions of rendered images and the range of animations.

Parameters


Resolution X/Y – Specifies the X and Y size of the output image in px.

Pixel aspect X/Y – Specifies the X and Y pixel aspect of the output image.

Bord – Renders a user defined border region.

Crop – Crop the final image to the border region.

Frame Range – Controls the animation range to be rendered.

Start – The first frame to be rendered.
End – The last frame to be rendered.
Step – The number of frames to be skipped forward when rendering.

Frame Rate – Options for the control and remapping of the playback.

FPS – The frames per second.

/ – The frame rate base.

Old – The old mapping in frames.

New – The new mapping in frames.

Render Mask –  The option allows rendering a selected group of objects. Three options are present in the Type box below: 

Objects – Allows you to set the objects you want to render.
Object  IDs – Only objects with specified Object IDs will be rendered, you can list them separated by ",". 
Disable – Disables the Render mask option.
