This page offers a quick starting point on how to render multiple camera views and sequences with Render Queue.

Steps

You can set and render multiple camera views and sequences systematically, without the hassle of manually starting each one in Chaos Vantage. To do so, follow these steps:

Open the Render setup window from Tools menu > High Quality Render, or from the High Quality Render Vantage_Bottom_Bar_quality.PNG button in the bottom toolbar.

Still image

To add still images for rendering, click the Still image button. Proceed with selecting a camera view and type, resolution, sample count, quality presets, render elements, etc.

Then in the Render queue panel, click the Add to render queue Vantage_RenderQueue_AddToQueue.png button to add the image to the queue.

Sequence

To add a sequence for rendering, click the Sequence button. Note that you have to prepare the sequence in the Animation Editor in advance, otherwise the Sequence button is grayed-out. Proceed with selecting a camera view and type, resolution, sample count, quality presets, output frame ranges, render elements, etc.

Then in the Render queue panel, click the Add to render queue Vantage_RenderQueue_AddToQueue.png button to add the sequence to the queue.

Update settings

You can update the render settings of any item added to the queue.

First, load the stored settings from the Edit settings from dialog Vantage_RenderQueue_LoadSettings.png button of the respective item. After changing the settings, click the Update settings from dialog  Vantage_RenderQueue_StoreSettings.png button to save the changes to the item in the queue.

Disable image/animation for rendering

You can prevent an item from being rendered by simply disabling its toggle Vantage_RenderQueue_Check.png in the Render queue panel.

Delete image/animation

Use the Delete Vantage_RenderQueue_ClearItem.png button of the respective image or animation to delete them from the render queue.

To clear the entire render queue, use the global Delete button.
