Chaos Scans plugin is automatically installed available with the typical V-Ray installation. However, to and Corona installations and allows the use of Chaos Scans downloaded from Chaos Scans Material Library. To tweak a Scans material in a scene, a separate license for the Chaos Scans plugin must be available through your Online license accountChaos License account.

License Setup

Chaos Scans is licensed the same way Vas Corona and V-Ray, and uses the Online Licensing System (alternatively, for older versions - hardware dongle based license). Those who already have a dongle for V-Ray will have their Scans license added to their existing dongle which can be updated easily, as shown in the next section of this page. Those with existing Online Licenses will Chaos License Server. Users with existing Chaos License accounts have the Scans license added to their accounts. Online Licensing is outlined below for your information.

Updating an Existing Dongle
