VRscans does not need to be installed and is already installed with the typical V-Ray for 3ds Max , V-Ray for Maya, V-Ray for SketchUp or V-Ray for Rhino installation. However, to use a VRscans material in a scene, a separate license for the VRscans plugin must be available through your USB dongle or Online account for rendering.

Updating an Existing Dongle
If you're additional VRscans licenses to an existing USB dongle, it will require reprogramming with a new license file. For more details on how this is done, please see the Dongle Reprogramming page.
