You can download the latest official version of V-Ray 3.0 from http://www.chaosgroup.com with the account supplied to you by Chaos Group or your reseller. If you experience any problems, please check the “Troubleshooting” section. System requirements
Please make sure that your system fulfills these requirements before installing V-Ray.
Processor
Intel Pentium IV or compatible processor with SSE2 support To use Embree you need CPU which supports SSE4.2 instruction set.
RAM
4 GB RAM and 4 GB swap minimum – recommended 8 GB or more RAM, 8 GB or more swap file
Operating system
Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, 64 bit versions only
Softimage
Softimage 2012 or later, 64 bit versions only
USB port
Required for hardware lock, preferably USB 2.0
TCP/IP
Only IPv4 is supported. IPv6 is currently not supported.
